Tick Education are seeking part time cover supervisors in Bedford to work across a variety of secondary schools in Bedford and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate will have experience teaching or tutoring Key Stage 3 or 4 pupils and be able to work on a daily or long-term basis.

Responsibilities:

– Deliver pre-planned lessons to secondary school pupils in the absence of the regular teacher

– Manage the classroom effectively, ensuring that students are engaged and focused on learning

– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where pupils feel valued and supported

Requirements:

– A degree certificate is desirable but not essential

– At least 3 months of experience teaching or tutoring Key Stage 3 or 4 pupils

– Proactive and confident in managing a classroom of secondary school pupils

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Flexibility to work in different schools and adapt to different teaching styles
