Teaching Assistants for Primary
Tick Education are looking for committed and energetic 1:1 Teaching Assistants for primary children. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive on making a difference in a child’s educational experience by offering dedicated, individual support.
1:1 Teaching Assistants for primary children are expected to work closely with one child who requires additional assistance, helping to guide and support them through their learning. You’ll be required to collaborate with staff to implement strategies, foster positive behaviour, and help the child to achieve their potential in a school setting.
Role Responsibilities:
· Deliver learning support to a child in a primary school, occasionally supporting small group activities.
· Assist the class teacher in creating accessible lessons tailored to specific learning needs.
· Build a trusting relationship with both the child and staff.
· Monitor the child’s progress and share observations
Role Requirements:
· Enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their education
· Previous experience working with children, ideally in a similar role
· Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
