Requirements for working as a teaching assistant:
· Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification
· Experience working as a teaching assistant with SEN children
· Positive attitude, passion for education and flexibility around days / hours
· Availability Monday – Friday each week
Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching assistant in Bedford:
· Supporting SEN children in 1-1 environments as well as classroom settings
· Providing support and help to the classroom lead
· Feeding and toilet support for children
· Developing children’s education and aiding their personal development
