Key Responsibilities for a Cover Supervisor in Luton:
Supervise classes in the absence of the regular classroom teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and follow instructions.
Manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a calm and productive environment.
Support students in their learning, providing guidance as necessary to maintain focus and progress.
Always ensure the safety and well-being of students.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and behaviour.
Liaise with teaching staff, providing feedback on student engagement and behaviour during cover lessons.
Key Requirements:
Good classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
Ability to work independently and use initiative.
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting students’ learning.
Experience in working with children or in a school setting is desirable but not essential.
A strong interest in education and a desire to work with young people.
Good organizational and time-management skills
