We are currently seeking a Daily Cover Teacher in Luton to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for covering lessons for absent teachers across a range of subjects, ensuring that students receive high-quality education and support in the absence of their regular teachers

As a Daily Cover Teacher in Luton your responsibilities would be:

·         Delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of subjects to students in the absence of their regular teachers

·         Maintaining good classroom control and discipline, ensuring that students behave appropriately and adhere to school rules

·         Managing student behaviour according to school policies and procedures

·         Providing feedback to regular teachers on students’ progress and behaviour during absence periods

·         Administering and marking assessments and homework where necessary

·         Collaborating with other teachers and staff members to ensure that students receive a cohesive and consistent education

Requirements:

– Experience working in a classroom environment

– Excellent classroom control and behaviour management skills

– A DBS check or willingness to obtain one

– Own transport would be beneficial

– QTS not required but would be a plus
