Responsibilities in ECT roles in Luton and surrounding areas:

– Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge students

– Support the academic and social development of students

– Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment

– Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills

– Attend meetings and parent-teacher conferences as required

The ideal candidate would have the following:

– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or in the process of obtaining QTS through an ECT programme

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Knowledge and understanding of childhood behaviour

– Passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and social development of students

– Flexibility to complete your ECT years

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree in education or related field

·         Completion of an ECT programme or in the process of completing an ECT programme

·         Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting is preferred
