Secondary SENCO in Luton

Are you a passionate and experienced educator with a commitment to inclusion and supporting every learner’s journey? Tick Education are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary SENCO in Luton to lead and develop provisions for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

As a Secondary SENCO in Luton:
You will be a key member of the leadership and pastoral teams, working collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure all students with additional needs receive the support they need to succeed—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements
Oversee the identification, assessment, and monitoring of students with SEND
Develop and implement effective support strategies and interventions
Coordinate EHCP processes and liaise with external professionals and agencies
Support and train staff in delivering high-quality inclusive teaching
Communicate regularly with parents/carers to build strong, supportive partnerships
