As an SEN Fully Qualified Teacher in Bedford, you will work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will deliver engaging and differentiated lessons, helping every pupil achieve their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.

The Role

Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons.
Support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals.
Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence, confidence, and achievement.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Experience working with children with SEN, either in a specialist or mainstream setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach.
A commitment to supporting the educational and personal development of all learners.
